Dume Drive
Located on the gently sloping flanks of Malibu’s Point Dume, this Spanish Colonial belongs to a rich history of Panama-California Exposition Style that proliferated in Southern California beginning in 1915. Evoking the romance of indoor/outdoor Mediterranean living and entertaining, we wanted to honor this special local history. A mixture of antiques, reclaimed materials, and thoughtful reproductions that employed traditional artisanal methods created a grand, villa-esque feeling. The design maintains a traditional yet relaxed style that explores scale, texture, and tone while reveling in the spectacular surrounding landscape.
